It seems like Sarfraz Ahmed is going to lose the spot of a wicket-keeper batsman as well after losing the captaincy of Tests and T20Is.
It is because Mohammad Rizwan is making rounds in the National T20 Cup 2019 and the captain of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is currently the highest run-getter in the tournament with 198 runs to his name after 4 matches.
He’s also playing with a healthy strike rate of 136 which is even more impressive for a wicket-keeper batsman in Pakistan.
Rizwan had a good time against the Northern bowlers where he completed another half-century in the tournament. He scored 52 off 35 with 7 fours and without hitting a six, he managed a strike rate of 148.57.
After Sarfraz Ahmed’s exemption, it is almost certain that Rizwan is going to be the wicket-keeper batsman for Pakistan in all three formats of the game.
