The ongoing Test series between India and South Africa has been all about the stylish Rohit Sharma. The Mumbai Indians captain bagged two centuries and a double century in the series so far and he’s all set to clinch the man of the series award.
In doing so, Rohit also became the batsman with the highest average at home with a minimum of 10 innings and went past Don Bradman. Rohit averages 99.84 at home whilst Bradman has been left behind by Sharma who averages 99.22 in Australia.
Rohit’s emergence as a Test batsman has been truly inspirational as he waited a lot of his turn before India tried so many other options. South Africa have been followed on in the 3rd Test as well and India are looking well oncourse to make it 3-0.
