Pakistan’s bowling coach Waqar Younis recently conducted a bowlers camp involving the country’s top performers. With a special focus on developing the skills of young pace bowlers, Waqar spoke highly about the future of fast bowlers in Pakistan.
Waqar took to Twitter to praise the quartet of teenage Pakistani fast bowlers, who have already made the headlines owing to their sizzling performances on different levels of cricket. Waqar singled out Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain, Nasim Shah and Musa Khan as the players that could make an impact in the future.
Shaheen has already registered his name in the history books with the most prolific spell in ICC World Cups for a Pakistan bowler while Hasnain became the second Pakistani to take a hat-trick in T20I cricket. Nasim and Musa have been delivering brilliant spells in domestic cricket and they could soon be in the limelight for the national side.
