Pakistan has announced its Test and T20I squad for their upcoming tour against Australia. Some major changes have been made by the newly appointed Chief Selector, Misbah-ul-Haq. New faces including Khushdil Shah, Musa Khan, Kashif Bhatti, and Usman Qadir have been launched for the Australian tour.
Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam (Captain), Haris Sohail, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Musa Khan, Shadab Khan, Usman Qadir and Wahab Riaz.
Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad have been left out of Pakistan’s squad. On the other hand, Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Irfan are making a comeback in the T20I side. Usman Qadir, Musa Khan, and Khushdil Shah are the new recruitments.
Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali (Captain), Babar Azam, Haris Sohail, Imran Khan Snr, Iftikhar Ahmed, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Musa Khan, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, and Yasir Shah.
Imran Khan Snr, the right-arm fast bowler is making a comeback in the side. Musa Khan, Naseem Shah, and Kashif Bhatti are elected for the very first time in Pakistan’s Test squad.
Pakistan will take on Australia in 3 T20I matches and 2 Test matches in November. The series will commence from 3rd November 2019.
