Inexperienced Pakistan hopes to maintain a history-long legacy
Pakistan tour to Australia 2019

Inexperienced Pakistan hopes to maintain a history-long legacy

The newly appointed Chief Selector, Misbah-ul-Haq has launched a new team for the upcoming Australia tour. The highlight of the squad is the inexperienced, young, and agile fast-bowling department. The likes of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Musa Khan, all teen-agers, are ready to pounce on the mighty Australian batting line-up.

Along with some strenuous tasks to do on the tour, this young bowling line-up holds a key responsibility of maintaining the history-long legacy of Pakistan’s fast-bowling department.

The mercurial Pakistan has produced some elite fast bowlers over the course of their cricketing history. From the great Sarfraz Nawaz to Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and from them to Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Asif, and Mohammad Amir- the country has never stopped producing gems.

Pakistan-the land of the fast-bowlers has now provided the National team with another generation of seam bowlers. With pace and swing, Musa, Shaheen, and Naseem Shah will aim to rule the hostile Australian lands. It is a prime time for the young team to build under Azhar Ali and uphold the life-long legacy of fast bowling.
