Pakistan have opted for a quartet of teenage pace sensations for the Australia tour next month. Musa Khan, Mohammad Hasnain, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi are all set to play an important role in Pakistan’s tough assignment in Australia which includes three T20Is and two Tests.
Shedding light on Pakistan’s selections, former West Indies pacer Ian Bishop fondly spoke about the country’s abundance of fast bowling talent. Bishop also jogged back his memory to recall interactions with Shaheen and Musa during the Under-19 World Cup last year in New Zealand.
Bishop praised the two youngsters for their keenness to learn from seniors and hoped they would deliver splendid performances in the upcoming series. Shaheen was one of the standout bowlers in the 2018 U-19 World Cup as he picked 12 wickets at an average of 14.58 and was in the ICC team of the tournament.
