This is evident from his numbers which constitute of 12 Test wickets at 31.41, 40 ODI wickets at 21.17 and 14 T20I wickets at 20.57
Recently, his services were acquired by Birmingham Phoenix for the upcoming English competition called ‘The Hundred’. The 19-year old quick would rub his shoulders with players like Moeen Ali, Kane Williamson, Chris Woakes and Adam Zampa. One of his teammates Moeen Ali was absolutely delighted to have the Pakistani pacer playing for his team.
Reviewing the prowess of Shaheen, Moeen said that Birmingham made a really smart choice by having the Khyber Agency born cricketer play for them. The 32-year old cricketer, who is excited for this new form of the game, added that the conditions of Edgbaston will suit Shaheen’s bowling and this will allow his unit to gain advantage against the other teams.
