Ahead of Bangladesh’s tour of India, the Bangladeshi cricketers have refused to be a part of any cricket activity until their demands concerning the improvement of the game in the country are met. A list containing 11 points have been released by the cricketers which the cricket board needs to cater.
With this, Bangladesh’s immediate cricket action finds itself in jeopardy. This includes the ongoing National Cricket League (NCL), preparations for the tour of India and the tour itself. However, president of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Sourav Ganguly is positive about the Tigers touring India and respecting all the decided fixtures.
New BCCI President Sourav Ganguly seems hopeful of Bangladesh's tour to India
Reviewing the current situation of the Bangladesh cricket, the former captain said that he is confident about Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) settling the issue. Ganguly added that he would talk to BCB, but at the end of the day, it is their internal matter and will have to be handled accordingly. It remains to be seen how BCB counters this muddle as a lot of cricketing action will get hampered from the strike of players.
