Naseem Shah, the right-handed fast bowler, is one of the budding fast bowling talents of the country. From Under-19 circuit to domestic cricket, Naseem showed great potential by recording strong bowling displays. However, he doesn’t have the needed experience as the rookie has played only 5 first-class games, 1 List A and 4 T20 matches.
Nevertheless, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) considers him a great prospect and for this reason, the selection committee decided to include him for the upcoming T20I series against Australia. Building a reputation for delivering fiery spells coupled with sharp bounces, Naseem has no plans to tone down his aggression if given a chance to don the green jersey down under.
Reviewing his forthcoming assignment, the 16-year old said that his aim is to use his pace and swing to bamboozle batters. Naseem added that the presence of extra bounce in the Australian wickets would allow him an opportunity to use it to his advantage. While he admitted the dearth of experience, Naseem promised to give his all against the Kangaroos.
