Australia’s explosive batsman Chris Lynn comes across as one of the specialists of the T20 cricket. Despite being an elite performer of the domestic 20-over competition called the Big Bash League (BBL), Lynn failed to deliver in the International circuit, where he averages a shade under 20 with a strike-rate of 131.67 in 16 T20I innings.
After getting dropped from the national team for the home series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan, the 29-year old showed extreme displeasure as he wanted the selection committee to communicate well with him. Nevertheless, the belligerent striker has no plans to give up with the next edition of the T20 World Cup not being far away.
The staging of the 20-over event in Australia further motivates Lynn to produce his best and get himself installed back in the national colors. Talking about the mega-event, the Queensland born said that he knows that a sturdy batting show, backed with good fitness and captaincy will help him strengthen his chances. It remains to be seen how Lynn bounces back from this situation.
