The left-arm paceman of Pakistan Usman Shinwari has impressed everyone with his pace and swing. The talented left-handed fast bowler took 5 wickets in the 1st semi-final against Northern and restricted them to an average total of 148/9 in 20 overs.
However, Shinwari’s effort was wasted by the brilliance of Haris Rauf who defended 8 runs in the last over to give Northern an enthralling victory at the Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad.
Usman took 5 wickets for just 13 runs in his 4 overs with a brilliant economy of just 3 runs per over. KPK lost the 1st semi-final by a margin of 3 runs and Iftikhar Ahmed’s half-century also went in vain along with Shinwari’s 5 wickets.
