Chris Lynn, the Australian opening batsman was disappointed after he was ignored for Pakistan and Sri Lanka T20I series. Lynn expressed his grieve during a Press Conference and blamed that there is a lack of communication among the selectors.
Justin Langer, the Australian head coach retaliated on the comments of the opening batsman. Langer said that the performance is crucial and Lynn should compete with his rivals to get into the team. "When you have got openers like David Warner and Aaron Finch, we’ve got Steve Smith coming back in and you have got Glenn Maxwell, it’s really competitive”, Langer said.
"He’s going to have to force one of those guys out and to do that, you have got to perform. Not just domestically but internationally. Performance is crucial and I am looking forward to seeing if he and other guys can force their way into the side. He’s got another really good opportunity. We know how dynamic he is, he has an unbelievable Big Bash record and I can’t wait to see how he goes this season”, Langer added.
