The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed the left-handed batsman Sharjeel Khan to participate in club cricket. The left-hander was banned for his alleged participation in a spot-fixing scandal in 2017.
It was during the 2nd edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) when Sharjeel lost his place along with Khalid Latif when they were playing for Islamabad United.
This comes as a huge breakthrough for Sharjeel who has been out of the 22 yards for almost three years now. According to the reports, Sharjeel is only eligible to play club cricket for now and the PCB will follow his conduct for some time before allowing him to come back to professional cricket.
