Rashid told the media that he was in so much pain that his ability to even lift his bowling arm was limited. “If I didn’t take the injections, then I don’t think I would have played a part because it was really bad. I wasn’t even able to lift my arm with the ball. I’m happy that I got through the World Cup and tried to do well with the best of my ability. Thankfully, things worked well,” said Adil Rashid while revisiting the pain he carried before the 50-over competition.
