Match Tied (Royal Challengers Bangalore win one-over eliminator)
After getting thrashed by Sri Lanka at home, Pakistan is up against a tougher challenge – the tour of Australia. The green shirts will be playing a series of three T20I matches followed by two Tests which would be a part of the highly celebrated ICC World Test Championship.
While many expect Pakistan to falter against the quality of Australia, head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq believes that the boys in green have the needed skills to win down under. Ahead of the commencement of the tour, the former skipper addressed media where he admitted the toughness of the Australian conditions. Nevertheless, Misbah added that his side is sitting confident to give their best shot against the Kangaroos.
“Touring Australia has never been easy for the Asian teams. We will try to read the conditions as early as possible so this could help us produce impressive results. Our Test pace battery is young, but all of them are excited to give their best shot and help us win the series,” said by 45-year old.
