Haris Sohail reminiscent of a motivational force during a World cup match

Haris Sohail, Pakistan’s middle-order batsman, highlighted a driving force behind him during the ICC Cricket World Cup match against South Africa in an interview with Wasim Akram. The legendary Pakistani fast bowler started the conversation with the memory of a huge crowd backing him and Waqar Younis when they used to run and deliver the ball.

He asked Haris Sohail about the feeling of playing in front of the home crowd. In reply to this, Haris- being reminiscent of the match against South Africa- said, “I remembered when I was playing on fifty in that match, there were chants of my name in the crowd and it was a real motivational force behind me. As a player, you seek for these driving forces and it really inspires you to deliver”, Haris added.

Pakistan was deprived of International Cricket for a long time. In the recent times, the ice has started to melt and these players have tasted the pleasure of playing in front of the home crowd. During the National T20 Cup, the crowd turn-over was exceptional too which inspired the local players to deliver up to their caliber.
