England’s world cup winning captain Eoin Morgan crosses 6000 runs in the T20 format. The left-handed batsman achieved this milestone in the 1st T20I match against New Zealand at Christchurch.
Morgan scored 34 not out and led England to victory against the Blackcaps in the opening T20I game. Morgan has now scored 6027 runs in the T20 format at an average of 26.55 in 278 T20 games he played.
Eoin Morgan is having a wonderful time in 2019. He became the first English captain to win the ICC Cricket World Cup and now he achieves yet another record in the shortest format of the game. The 33-year old now aims to do well for England in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup and they have started to build the momentum with the victory against New Zealand.
