David Warner continues to prove the reason why he is one of the most dangerous batsmen in the limited-overs cricket. After a horrible run in the Ashes 2019, Warner resurges well in the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Warner scored one century and two half-centuries against the visitors in the 3-match series.
He scored 217 runs in the series and no bowler was able to dismiss him in the whole series. This is the 1st time that an opener remained not out throughout a 3-match T20I series. Warner’s exceptional form will help Australia to build up towards the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup next year.
Australia will take on Pakistan in the T20I series starting from the 3rd November. Warner will be eager to continue his good work in the upcoming series against the top-ranked T20I side. Warner currently averages 29.98 in the 73 T20I games he has played for Australia.
