I want my team to be more consistent: Phil Simmons

West Indies' new Head Coach Phil Simmons is bothered by his team’s inconsistent performances in the recent past. Simmons wants to work with the unit in order to bring consistency in the talented side.

Talking to a local news outlet, Simmons said, “It’s a big responsibility on my shoulders after three years and it is different too. I would love to start with what is necessary for now. As a coach, I have a goal for myself and I want my team to be a consistent winning unit. West Indies should win more matches instead of losing more matches”

Phil previously coached the young Afghanistan side and now he will work with his own men. West Indies is scheduled to play Afghanistan in a 3-match ODI and 3-match T20I series this month.
