The top-ranked T20I side Pakistan is all set to pounce on Australia in the T20I series. Australia is coming off a 3-0 white-wash over Sri Lanka in the T20I series. Pakistan has a relatively new squad for this series. Under Babar Azam, who is recently appointed as Pakistan’s T20I captain, the Green team will like to start off well.
Australia’s top-order is in a significant form especially David Warner who scored 217 runs in the 3-match series against Sri Lanka. The fast bowling department is in prolific form too. With Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins back in the side, it won’t be an easy job for Pakistan to handle the mighty Aussies.
Pakistan will take on Australia in a 3-match T20I series starting from 3rd November 2019. Pakistan has only played one T20I match in Australia. Therefore, this will be a relatively new experience for a relatively newer side. Following the T20I series, the two teams will battle in a 2-match Test series.
