Bangladesh women finally finished their tour of Pakistan with a win after facing defeats in the preceding four limited-overs matches. Bangladesh had lost the three-match T20I series 0-3 and this trend was repeated in the first ODI game where they were defeated by 29 runs handing Pakistan an unassailable 1-0 lead.
However, the visitors recorded a great comeback in the second ODI of the two-match series, edging out the home team by just one wicket and completing the chase on the penultimate delivery of the game. Rumana Ahmed was once again at the peak of her abilities as she claimed three wickets with Pakistan collapsing to 210 all out in 48.4 overs.
In reply, Bangladesh were cruising throughout the majority of the chase but lost five wickets for 18 runs before the last pair got them over the line. Fargana Hoque bagged the player of the match award for her patient 67 off 97 balls.
