The English batsman Dawid Malan farewells Middlesex County Club as he joins Yorkshire with a 4-year deal. The 32-year old stepped down as the captain of Middlesex at the end of the last season.
Malan, who has been with Middlesex since 2006, requested to be released from his contract despite having two years left on his deal at Lord's. "This feels like the right time to start a new adventure, and I am excited by the prospect of joining another great club," Malan said.
"I have enjoyed 13 happy and successful years at Middlesex, and I am hugely grateful to everyone at the club - staff, players and supporters - for their support during this period. I am privileged to have played for so long”, he further added.
Dawid Malan has scored 11229 runs in First-Class Cricket. He is currently with the England’s T20I side in New Zealand. The bloke has also been the part of Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League.
