Afghanistan’s spin sensation Rashid Khan hardly goes unnoticed in the International cricket. Time and again, the wizard has bowled stunning spells, thus allowing Afghanistan to bag memorable victories. After the World Cup debacle, now he sits ready to take his country forward with him being the captain of the side.
Recently, Rashid was lauded by the West Indian skipper Kieron Pollard who called him a ‘world-class’ bowler. Ahead of the three-game ODI series against Afghan unit, the explosive all-rounder shared his views on his counterpart, highlighting the need to play Afghan spin attack well.
Pollard said that Rashid’s skills are known to all and the addition of Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi into the equation makes life hard for every batter. However, the 32-year old cricketer has immense doubt in the abilities of his players as he urged them to showcase their talent using the forthcoming opportunities. After the ODI series, the two teams will play three T20Is and a solitary Test match.
