After coming close to beating India on various occasions, Bangladesh finally cracked the code of downing the blue team as they registered a historic T20I win at Delhi. In the opening game of the three-match T20I series, India batted first on a sluggish wicket to get to 148. The total, by no means, was easy, but Bangladesh showed great maturity to ace the chase.
Bangladesh’s wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim was the chief architect of the victory as he batted brilliantly to score an unbeaten 60 using just 43 balls. Now that Bangladesh has a victory in the series, the Tigers have no plan to look back as Mushfiqur added that his unit is looking for a series victory against the men in blue.
Sharing his views with media, the 32-year old added that he has immense belief in the qualities of his team and skipper Mahmudullah too is confident to beat India in India. The next two games of the series will be played on November 7 and 10 at Rajkot and Nagpur respectively.
