New Zealand outclassed England in the 3rd T20I at Nelson and took a lead in the series by 2-1. The Blackcaps, after putting into bat by England, scored 176 for 8 in their 20 overs. Martin Guptill and James Neesham were the stars with the bat scoring 41 and 42 respectively.
In reply, England was bowled out for just 155 runs. Mitchell Santner bowled splendidly and took 3-25 in his 4 overs. Tim Southee and Lockie Ferguson also contributed to the cause with 2 wickets each.
New Zealand now has the lead in the 5-match T20I series. They played quality cricket in the series so far and now they are aiming to satiate their World Cup vengeance with a series win over the visitors.
