India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant announced himself in style after he was found smacking the bowlers in the ICC U-19 World Cup in 2016. He caught the attention of the experts due to his explosive style of batting.
He was inducted into the senior team of India and since then, it has been a roller-coaster ride for the young wicket-keeper.
Currently, Rishabh is not having a good time with the bat and the stand-in captain Rohit Sharma came to his rescue. Pant failed against Bangladesh in the first T20I and eventually the match was lost by the hosts which became their only defeat against Bangladesh in T20Is. However, Rohit Sharma believes that Rishabh Pant is still very young and he will improve with time.
