Peshawar Zalmi is one of those Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises which never fail to excite their fans both on and off the field. Continuing their legacy of bringing fantastic initiatives forward, Peshawar’s franchise recently announced ‘Kaliwal Zalmi League’, which is a tape ball cricket tournament set to be played in the complete province.
The idea is to celebrate the return of cricket in Pakistan as this year’s complete edition of the highly celebrated PSL is scheduled in the country. Under the banner of the Zalmi Force Program, a total of 272 teams from 34 districts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be registered to participate in this competition.
The first phase of this league is set to begin on November 12, with complete schedule to be announced later. It is imperative to note that this is not the first time that Peshawar Zalmi has commenced a laudable inclusive project as the Zalmi Foundation previously organized events like Zalmi Talent Hunt, Zalmi School League, Zalmi Azadi Cup and Zalmi Madrassa League.
