Afghanistan are currently in India where they are battling West Indies in a three-game ODI series followed by three T20Is and a solitary Test. During the break in the ongoing ODI series, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan found time to visit one of the schools in Lucknow.
The Nangarhar born, via his Twitter handle, expressed his feelings regarding spending time with the school children. Rashid added that he shared his cricketing knowledge and had a plethora of fun with the kids.
Moreover, he extended his gratitude towards the school management and children for all the love and hospitality they offered.
Rashid Khan is one of the wiliest cricketers of the modern-day cricket. Improving his skill-set all the time, the leggie has established himself as a major threat to the batting world of the game.
Due to a series of superlative performances, Rashid was recently elevated to the captaincy framework of Afghanistan – an honor he cherishes a lot.
What makes him even more special is that he remains a hero outside the cricket field too as the 21-year old runs the ‘Rashid Khan Foundation’ which is aimed towards helping the children who are in need of a rescue. This portrays a soft image of a cricketer who holds a lot of aggression.
