The right-handed opening batsman Ahmed Shahzad last played for Pakistan against Sri Lanka in the T20I series at home.
Shahzad failed to impress the selectors and was tagged as one of the culprits behind Pakistan’s first-ever series loss to Sri Lanka in T20Is.
However, with the ICC T20 World Cup approaching quickly, Shahzad has decided to go to Australia 4 or 5 months before the mega event starts.
“I might go to Australia on my own, there’s a plan and I might hire a trainer and a coach in Australia to make sure I get accustomed to the conditions there.”
Shahzad revealed that he has a plan in place and he might go to Australia and hire a separate coaching staff to help him out.
