While Pakistan’s T20I outfit was looking an extremely hard nut to crack few months ago, the team has all of a sudden joined a losing track. The top ranked T20I team has now lost three consecutive T20I series in a row. Even in the recent series against Australia, the boys in green looked no match to the Kangaroos and hence faced humiliation.
With T20 World Cup scheduled in Australia next year, fans are sitting extremely worried as the bouncy wickets challenged the green team during the recently concluded series. However, former Australian cricketer Michael Hussey doesn’t believe that Pakistan will continue to suffer like that. The cricketer turned expert admitted the struggles of Pakistan, but didn’t find a reason to believe that the unit cannot come back hard in the mega-event.
The 44-year old is confident to see a strong Pakistan in the World Cup, thus swelling the charm of the competition. Moreover, he also feels that it would be unwise to write Pakistan off on account of one bad series in Australia. Pakistan’s next assignment is a two-game Test series against Australia.
