Morgan happy to have a ‘good headache’ for T20 World Cup selection

The revamping of England’s white-ball cricket is one of the most fascinating stories of the cricketing world. As if the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament wasn’t enough, their new prowess was visible in the final T20I game against New Zealand where they won the decider against all the odds.

Despite resting key players from the 20-over cricketing action, England won the five-match series 3-2 as they found new heroes.

All this elated the skipper Eoin Morgan who is loving this new headache ahead of the all-important T20 World Cup which is scheduled to take place in Australia next year.

Sharing his views on the forthcoming edition of the T20 World Cup, the explosive batsman said, “The fact that the decider went right down to the wire indicates how well our guys applied themselves.

It takes immense skills to win such contests. With the T20 World Cup less than a year away, it is a lovely headache for us as far as the selection process is concerned.”
