Faizan Riaz hit a majestic double ton in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy clash between Sindh and Northern. The 31-year-old hammered the Sindh bowling attack in a ravishing display of breathtaking strokeplay.
Northern, who dwell at the bottom of the points table currently, were in a precarious spot at 15/3 before Faizan unleashed a magnificent counterattack. He raced to his century in just 91 deliveries and did not show signs of slowing down after reaching the three-figure mark.
Faizan then got to his double ton in 188 balls with the help of 26 fours and three maximums. He finally departed at the mammoth score of 211 as Northern finished the opening day at 396/8.
