After the World Cup debacle, fans were expecting to see a strong Afghanistan side turning up against West Indies in the recently concluded ODI series. However, it never happened as the maroon jersey was found punching the blue team left, right and center to clean-sweep the three-game series 3-0.
While the Afghan skipper and their premier spinner Rashid Khan sits disappointed to lose the ODI series badly, he has no plans to spend time thinking more about it.
The spin maestro, while reflecting on the ongoing tour, said that his focus is now on T20I cricket and he wants his unit to make a memorable comeback.
Recently, the 21-year old discussed his plans for the 20-over cricket action and revealed that all he would look to do is to enjoy the game.
Moreover, Rashid Khan urged all his teammates to do the same as he believes that the shortest format of the game is all about enjoying, which would give the Afghan unit a chance to express themselves and get results in their favor. The three-game T20I series will commence on November 14 in Lucknow.
