Babar Azam, the top-order Pakistani batsman, grabs attention from all the cricketing spheres. With 2 half-centuries in the recently concluded three-game T20I series against Australia, the batting sensation further swelled his legacy as the top-ranked batsman in the 20-over International cricket.
Recently, the Lahore born was discussed by the Netherlands skipper Pieter Seelaar who is sitting anxiously to bowl against the Pakistani run machine both in the Euro T20 Slam as well as the ODI series.
The 32-year old was found in awe of Babar Azam’s skills as he went on to call the 25-year old ‘a classy batsman’. Moreover, Seelaar believes that bowling against such a cricketer will allow him to further ameliorate his skills.
“If I speak about all the International stars coming to play Euro T20 Slam, Babar Azam is one of my favorites. There’s no doubt about him being counted among the finest batters of the modern-day white-ball cricket. He just oozes class and it would be really good to try to pick his brain,” said the Schiedam born while reviewing the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam.
