There has recently been a focus on unearthing leg-spin talent in Pakistan cricket given Shadab Khan’s ordinary form in white-ball internationals. Aspiring to fulfill the role of Pakistan’s premier leg-spinner on the big stage, young all-rounder Mohammad Mohsin has high hopes of making it into the national side.
Mohsin, who is also a left-handed batsman in addition to being a leg-spinner, will take part in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Emerging Teams Asia Cup and hopes to make his country proud. He was one of the standout performers in the National T20 Cup, picking up 13 wickets and idolizes South African great AB de Villiers.
“Cricket is everything for me and selection in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup squad is nothing less than a dream coming true. My wish is to become the best all-rounder in the world and my favourite player is South Africa star AB de Villiers,” he said.
