Pat Cummins, the Australian pacer, is currently counted among the best quicks of the cricketing world. After making his comeback from the injury, Cummins has been absolutely brilliant across the three formats of the game.
Playing 25 Tests, 58 ODIs and 25 T20Is, the exuberant paceman has picked 123, 96 and 32 wickets respectively. Particularly in the ongoing year, Cummins has adopted a different gear with which he has been rattling batting line-ups easily.
In 2019, the 26-year old cricketer played 31 matches so far. Delivering over 450 overs, Cummins has been able to take his scalps tally to 83, averaging 19.53. Moreover, the upcoming two-game Test series against Pakistan, set to commence from November 21 in Brisbane, will give him an opportunity to complete 100 wickets in this year’s International cricket.
Knowing the bowling form of Pat Cummins, this is indeed a possibility as we also realize the Pakistan’s struggles against the pace and bounce. It remains to be seen how he fares in the red-ball cricket against the boys in green.
