India’s fast bowling department pertains its dominance in the red-ball cricket. India took on Bangladesh in the 1st Test match at Indore, after Bangladesh elected to bat first, the Indian fast bowlers gave a tough time to the visitors. Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav, and Ishant Sharma bowled splendidly well.
Shami was the pick of the bowlers in the 1st innings as he picked up 3 wickets. On the other hand, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav bagged 2 wickets each. The Indian speedsters kept on bowling at consistent line and lengths and troubled the Bangladeshi batsmen. Bangladesh was bowled out for just 150 runs in their first innings.
In the recent past, India’s fast bowler have done a great job for their country. They led India from the front in almost every game of the ICC Test Championship so far. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah- Ishant, Umesh, and Shami have a huge responsibility on their shoulders to deliver.
