The 32-year-old sportsman, nicknamed the “Falcon”, received a heartening message from legendary swing bowler Wasim Akram, who wished him the best of luck for the upcoming fight.
Former Pakistan skipper Akram believes the way Waseem won his previous fight in a matter of seconds meant he had no qualms in predicting another win for him. The 53-year-old reiterated that the entire nation was with the mighty boxer and were praying for his success.
