PCB in talks with South Africa, Ireland for a T20I series

Reviewing Pakistan’s schedule till the forthcoming edition of the T20 World Cup in Australia, there isn’t much space to sneak in a cricket series. However, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is adamant to add another T20I series into the equation, which could help the boys in green get in shape for the 20-over mega-event.

For this purpose, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in talks with South Africa and Ireland to hold a short T20I series. While South Africa offers one of the strongest units of the cricketing world, Ireland, by no means, can be underestimated as they are known as the ‘giant killers’.

It is important to report that the governing body of Pakistan cricket is eager to host the series in Pakistan, hence building on their reputation of being a complete safe country for hosting the International cricket. As per sources, there have been smooth conversations between Pakistan and both the aforementioned countries and PCB is very much confident to host one of them soon. Nevertheless, we all await the official confirmation.
