After losing the 1st T20I, the young and spirited side of Afghanistan made a strong comeback in the series and lifted the series title against the world champions West Indies.
The highlight of the match was young Rahmanullah Gurbaz who scored an amazing 79 off just 52 balls with 6 fours and 5 sixes.
Gurbaz wasn’t afraid of taking risks and he scored timely boundaries to take Afghanistan to a defendable total of 156. The Wicket-keeper batsman said he follows AB de Villiers and he also tries to play 360 shots like the former South African captain.
In the last T20I of the series, Afghanistan opted to bat first and Gurbaz was the main guy behind Afghanistan’s series victory. In reply, West Indies could only manage 127-7 in their 20 overs.
