Australian batsman Steve Smith is focused on adapting to the conditions at the Gabba ahead of the 1st Test match against Pakistan in Brisbane on 21st November. The right-handed batsman enjoyed a terrific year with the bat in hand as he is just one run shy of 1300 runs (Test matches) in the ongoing calendar year.
The bloke accumulated 1299 runs at an average of 72.16 in just 20 International appearances. Smith is currently bossing the Test rankings as well. The right-handed batsman expressed his views ahead of the first Test against Pakistan.
"I'm feeling good. For me, the next few days is about getting used to the bounce at the Gabba and practicing leaving (the ball) well, and just being patient again. I'm sure I'll get plenty of that work in, and be good to go on Thursday." Smith said.
