England’s key crop of cricketers is set to get back in action as hosts New Zealand and England are about to lock horns in a two-game Test series. Wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler is one of those cricketers who were given a break from the T20I series – a thing he cherished a lot as it made him fresh for the upcoming International cricket action.
The belligerent batsman geared up for the red-ball cricket with a spectacular century in the tour game against New Zealand A. It is important to note that England faced a challenging summer which included a series against Pakistan followed by the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament and the journey ended with a stunning Ashes series which saw nerve-racking games, giving fans a plethora of entertainment.
Recalling all this, the 29-year old admitted that the break from the International cricket helped him to relax as he sits focused and ready to help England win the red-ball series against New Zealand. The two-game Test series gets underway from November 21 at Mount Maunganui with next match scheduled to be played in Hamilton.
