Mohammad Asghar has been performing consistently well in the domestic circuit of Pakistan for the past few years. The slow left-arm spinner has played for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and he first grabbed the attention of the experts in 2016 when he had a dream run for Zalmi in the inaugural Pakistan Super League (PSL) competition.
Asghar took 5 wickets for 90 runs against KPK in their Quaid-e-Azam Trophy clash against Balochistan. The left-arm spinner went through the top order of KPK with his cunning deliveries. He was part of Pakistan’s Test squad that toured Australia last time but he hasn’t been given the Test cap as of now.
