When it comes to discussing Pakistan cricket, controversies cannot be dropped out of the equation as time and again, unique incident hit country’s cricket. Moreover, these events get further highlighted by the players who are sitting out of the national framework as they move to share their frustration about the management.
Recently, Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal did the same as he arraigned the management and coaching staff during Mickey Arthur’s tenure. The reason of the criticism was Mickey Arthur’s statement about Wahab Riaz before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament where he indicated that the Lahore born isn’t in his plans and then all of a sudden, the left-arm quick was selected for the national team’s campaign in the 50-over competition.
The belligerent striker highlighted this incident in particular as he called for management to handle players in a better manner. Kamran said that it is unwise and harsh for any management team to say that a certain player isn’t in their plan as this could demotivate the cricketer to improve. Moreover, he hoped for better things with the new setup.
