Rashid Latif credits Virat Kohli for India’s pace resurgence

Indian team is growing from strength to strength. Particularly in Test cricket, the men in blue are going through a stunning patch as they look all set to become the first finalist of the highly adored ICC World Test Championship. A major reason of this success is the spectacular bowling shows by their pace battery.

Recently, this was discussed by former Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Rashid Latif. The cricketer turned expert said that Virat Kohli deserves a lot of praise for the way he transformed India’s pace artillery and installed a different level of confidence in them.

Highlighting the success of their pace battery in both home and away conditions, the Karachi born added that this new flavor has been given by India’s run machine.

“The foundation of India’s success was laid by Sourav Ganguly and then Dhoni took it to new heights. But, Virat Kohli has added a different sort of spice as he is winning games using their pace department. At both home and away, Indian pacers are bowling brilliantly,” said by Rashid as he applauded Virat’s role as a skipper.
