Australia’s legendary leg-spinner Shane Warne figures among the greatest ever players to play the game. His ability to produce prodigious turn and sharp variations made him one of the most lethal spinners and his highly impressive record across formats speaks volumes of his caliber.
The 50-year-old now partakes in commentating duties and is known for not shying away from voicing his brash opinions. Recently, the Aussie great took a trip down memory lane as he remembered his duel with former Pakistan opening batsman Saeed Anwar.
Warne was reacting to a video depicting a vicious leg-break from the Aussie that breached the defences of Anwar. Warne admitted Anwar was one of the best batsmen he bowled to and he was really happy to dismiss him off a special delivery in that fateful encounter 20 years ago.
