Teenage pace sensation Naseem Shah has impressed everyone with his ability to crank up high speeds regularly. Exhibiting good levels of stamina by managing to keep bowling without losing heat, Naseem’s bowling has garnered praise from Australian opener David Warner.
The aggressive shot-maker offered words of encouragement for the youngster and likened him to how Mohammad Amir got the world talking about him when he first burst onto the international scene a decade ago.
“He’s quite skiddy, got a nice fluent action, but he won’t get a harder Test debut than out there and bowl at the Gabba,” Warner told reporters following the second day’s play.
“He charged in, and there’s a superstar there. Like when Mohammad Amir came on the scene, the first time, he was rapid and had us all in a pickle,” Warner added.
