Pakistan’s premier batsman Babar Azam has announced himself in the Test arena with a remarkable ton against Australia in the 1st Test match at the Gabba. Babar pulled off a magnificent innings when his team was in deep trouble. His exceptional 104 was rated highly by the cricket pundits.
Babar, when he last toured Australia, could not manage to score a lot of runs in the Test matches. This time around he has started off well in the longest format of the game. “Changing mindset has helped me in adjusting to the conditions. I played well in the practice games which also contributed well to the cause”, Babar Azam said.
“When I was batting on 50, I was thinking about my century as I was getting out around the 50-mark figure and this time around I wanted to score big”, he further added. This was Babar’s only 2nd Test hundred accompanied by 11 half-centuries.
