Mohammad Abbas, the rising pace sensation of Pakistan, currently sits as one of the most dangerous red-ball bowlers of the game. Despite playing only 14 Tests in which he mustered 66 wickets, Abbas has built a strong reputation in the international cricket, which was evident from the backlash Pakistan received by benching him for the Brisbane Test.
Recently, the genius quick was found revealing his bowling mantra after being questioned about bowling to Indian skipper Virat Kohli – a duel Abbas has never been a part of. While the 29-year old is a fan of Virat’s batting, Abbas added that he likes to concentrate on getting all the wickets and contribute valiantly towards his team’s cause.
Nevertheless, Abbas admitted that it is imperative to put special focus on skippers or key players of a team as it can also damage a unit mentally. The Sialkot born fast-bowler, who enjoys the 12th position of the Test bowling rankings, is likely to get back in the national team for the Adelaide Test, which is set to commence from November 29.
