Indian wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni has given many moments of joy to the country. Be it the ICC Test mace, the inaugural edition of the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2013 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy tournament or the 50-over mega-event in 2011, the former captain successful drove home a lot of pride.
However, with age not being on his side, Dhoni’s reflexes aren’t helping him much. There is a dip in his performance and many fans are now losing their patience as they want to see the Ranchi born bidding farewell to the International cricket.
Seeing all this frustrated the head coach Ravi Shastri who was found spitting fire against the naysayers of MS Dhoni. The 57-year old demanded people to mind their own business and respect someone who has swelled the legacy of the Indian cricket.
“Half the guys commenting on Dhoni can’t even tie their shoelaces. Look at what he’s achieved for the country. Why are you in hurry to see him off? He’s not gonna be around forever. Let it happen when it has to,” said by Mumbai born while sharing his frustration.
